Career change?

There are a few options to finally find a new job.

1. I could go back to police school/become a fire fighter like my father and his father before him.

2. Go to the VDAB and talk them into giving me tuition money. For my truck driver's license or to study for nurse as they need like a thousand of them starting from TODAY. Oh or I could go back to college and finish my A1. (But I don't want to take any tests anymore!!! I have issues. I freak and forget everything the moment they shove those stupid questions under my nose)

3. Go back to my old factory work or to my old job in the Carrefour that I left to go back to school.

4. Finally get my driver's license although I don't want to drive a car. I do want to drive a bus/truck/motorbike. :-) And with that stupid license I can apply for an extra ten jobs. Wahey.

5. Start my own daycare center. Yes I realize I don't have any money. Shut up! Oh and The Pigie is totally against it. Tsk!

6. Do absolutely nothing of the above and just get pregnant. I could become a full time mum. Yeah right. Like I don't need tons of money to do that. *sigh*

VDAB pays hogeschool studies if you're unemployed for at least two years. Otherwise, no. They do have free studies, but I think it can take a while to get in and I heard the studies are quite intense.

I love being back in school, but it sometimes sucks going to school with people four years younger than me.

Would evening school be an option for you?

Ik heb daar al over nagedacht, maar ik kan het mij niet veroorloven om terug naar school te gaan...

Het zal uiteindelijk de fabriek worden denk ik... Nadat ik mijn stom rijbewijs heb gehaald. :-)

If you're unemployed, evening school is free or for a reduced price. *g* A rijbewijs would be far more costly to get. I've been meaning to get one myself, and hopefully by working the summer and three months into the schoolyear, I'll be able to afford it.

Your image?? How about mine?? And it's not because you work in a factory that you are less smart than other people. The other people just don't know that yet, that's all. :)

If I had the money and if I knew the right people my choice would be 5 or 6.
But I have neither so I'll look at it another month and start applying for factory work... Oh god I really don't want to. But we could use the money...
