Tiramisu

As promised the recipe for making tiramisu. A bit later than promised, I know, but I've been busy panicking about our pending trip to London and things at work are getting crazy. Anyhow...

ingrediƫnts:

250 gr mascarpone
50 gr sugar
2 eggs
1 pacquet (10 gr) of vanilla sugar
2 boxes of boudoirs
coffee
amaretto
cocoa powder

Put the mascarpone with all the sugar and the egg yolks in a bowl and stir until you get a smooth texture.

Whip up the egg whites until you can hold the bowl upside down without the egg whites dripping out.

Gently stir the egg whites under the mascarpone mix until you get a "fluffy" end result.

Poor some coffee and a sip amaretto on a plate.

Dip a cookie in the coffee. In and out principle, you don't want them to get too soggy! Repeat until you have filled the bottom of your dish.

Put some mascarpone mix on the cookies until you have cookies covered with a thin layer of masarpone mix.

Repeat until you have no more cookies and mix.

Put your tiramisu for a night in the fridge so it can stiffen.

Before presenting your dessert sif some cocoa powder on top.

Enjoy!

Excuse my crap English but it isn't easy translating specific cooking processes. :-/ I hope all who wants to give this a try understand what I'm trying to say...

I have a mental image of some poor sod turning their bowl upside down to see if the egg-whites have been beaten enough, only to discover that they haven't...
LOL!

My mum used to test the whole egg-whites thing on me. Fun times...
Thank you so much. I will try this out for OH.

btw, your English is not crap, trust me!
Let me know how it went!

(and thanks, but I struggled and I'm not happy with the end result. I wanted to put more nuances in my text, but hey: as long as you understand me...)
