"Get off your lazy ass!" (3)
Today I used my bike to do some shopping. Normally I would've taken the car but I figured it is about time to kick the "Get off your lazy ass!" project into life again.
The Universe didn't agree with me though. My tires were flat due to lack of use (oops!), and there was wind and it was all uphill and... Enough reasons to get into my car and get it over with in ten minutes BUT sometimes I'm just stubborn. :-) Got on my bike, did the shopping, sweated like a pig and was home in thirty minutes. Now my ass is sore (I really need to invest in a decent saddle) but I feel quite pleased with myself. Eat that Universe! :-)
Routhy and I also started looking into some dance schools to satisfy our dancing feet but it isn't looking too good at the moment.
School1 is rather cheap, €129 for a whole year. But we are in a group with mostly 13 year olds. Bah! Not a real option. I don't want to be outshined by some skinny bouncy child. GoD, I'm a whinny old bitch.
School2 charges €73 for 14 lessons. We're going to an open day of that one, although it is rather expensive. But
jamaisneutral tells me that if I want to dance I should dance. Which is really sweet of her as we don't have a lot of money laying around just waiting to be spent.
School3 doesn't even have the course we're looking for. And that calls itself a dance school. Tsk!
School4... ah wait there are only three schools in this city. Blah!
Oh, and in September I'm giving "start to run" my final try. If I don't succeed now I'm a big fat loser who needs to be severely punished by some bulky butch female fitness instructor. Hmmm.. that doesn't sound as bad as I thought it would. :D

And your arse is sore from riding a bike, it's usually another part of my anatomy for me. ;-) And, tsk, that's probably from disuse rather than a bad saddle, too. ;p Even I got zadelpijn when I rode my bike for the first time in a month or so last month. And I'm pretty used to riding a bike, so there.
But, hee, dancing! Hope school 2 works out and has what you want. If you do take up dancing, you'll probably need to run to keep up your condition, anyway. But rather you than me! :D
Tsk.

Start To Run Pointers
2/ Don't beat yourself up over skipping a training session once in a while... just start again the next day (but do try to run more than skipping!)
3/ I'm lazy and I was in very poor condition, but I completed it about a month ago so: it is possible! :-)
