Hiya all. It's been months years since I updated my journal. Nothing special to report except my newfound obsession: Marija Serifovic. And thanks to littlemooseI now have the coolest icon ever!! Thanks a bunch!!!

I am a member of this formation. We perform at the Gay ESC and this year it's going to be our third participation. The past two years there were no problems what so ever. We agreed on everything from the song to our costumes. But this year?? I We aren't agreeing. I simply do not want to perform the song picked by our leader E-freak. We have a reputation of picking a song that's not like the other's, one that sticks out in the crowd, one that practically no one remembers, one that requires a sofa or a staircase, ... So we're having a discussion. Our "Le feux" (yes we have stage names, but I want to change mine...) wants to perform a tacky song. I like it, I love it but 1: I'm not going on stage in my bikini and two: it's too well known. No I'm not telling you the song as I want to ask you all a question. Here't goes: What song do you readers want us to perform this year? Think, be wise and remember: no bikinis!

As Piglet said to Occie ESC is a group event. We invited some friends who invited a friend. Some came, others didn't. Shame on them!
We had a picture of Nuno by the candles, we had flags and hats and loads of food and booze. The score sheets were all filled in except the one from Eurovisionfreak. Shame on him!
We did our own top ten as the one from the actual night is crap! Crap I tell you! Latvia?? Denmark?? It's not because they did the whole sign language that they deserve to pass! And how come Iceland isn't in the final?? Eh? Eh?? Tsssk! Piglet will post our finalists as soon as she comes home from work but I can tell you that our number one was Iceland.

Here comes my own personal top ten:

12 pt. Ireland The little boy was soooo cute! I want to adopt him!
10 pt. Hungary I think they or Norway are going to win this contest although I have to agree that they do a very Ruslana act that can cost them a lot of points.
8 pt. Norway Let's rock the night away! But pleeeeeez shave your chest hair! And let's hope the music will be louder on Saturday.
7 pt. Romania Like the act. She's not overdressed and she has boobies :-)
6 pt. Iceland I like the song. Maybe they didn't go through because off the Aladin outfits and the crap act. (I am really sorry Pol Oscar choreographer!!!)
5 pt. Israel I love the song. And ok her boobies did the rest. :-)
4 pt. Lithuania love the song, nice make up. She did this cool "let's shuffle around stage" with the band.
3 pt. Belarus Although she disappointed me a bit live she get's point for losing some clothes on stage. :-)
2 pt. Netherlands I guess I am just crazy. I don't even like the song.
1 pt. Moldava the grandma with the drum-a get's them one point.

Tiroleeroutfits. Stom liedje. Knap jodelventje. Tiroloutfits met joggingspakjes?? Drie lange minuten…. Zangeres heeft het kleed van sneeuwwitje gepikt!

2. litouwen

Zalig liedje. Enge paarse oogmake up. Leewenmanen als haar. Halfnaakte witte outfit. Lange botten. Sjaal rond armen en sexy zweetbandje. Tof meeschuiven van de band. (choreografie)
Axl rose tien jaar geleden. Harige cousin it als gitarist. Er wordt een windmachine gebruikt maar valt niet echt op.

3. portugal

Fre wil het kapsel. Turnmomentje. Scary ballernia outfits. Heel heel erg jemini. Kill the choreograaf. Struivogelrode rok. Barbie make up. De madam kan echt niet zingen. Misschien moet ze jemini bijstaan.??

4. Moldavie (eerste keer)

Handje?? Oma in de schommelstoel. Indiaans rokje bij de zanger. Leuk fluitje. Go bomma!

5. letland

Gebarentaal gelukkig niet gedurende het gehele leidje komt ongewild grappig over. Babyface. Saaie witte outfits. De weur is not over. Ze zijn verliefd als ze rechtstaan. Come on europe!! Doomed! Anja daems is verliefd.

6. monaco

Disneybalade moment. Afschuwlijk kleed met roos gecentreerd. Zingt goed. Simpel: gewoon een madam op het podium. Piglet goes wild als de strijkers invoegen.

7. Israel

Wauw! Ze heeft tett’n. haar haar ligt in lagen… sleep aan kleed. Mooie vorm maar misschien minder goud?? Engels stukje bweukes! Piglet: poepie!!!

8. belarus (wit rusland)

Gouden madam. Prinsjes glijden over het podium. Laaaaaaaave me tonight. Ontgoocheld live. Rare choreografie. Army of lovers outfit. En ze klappen. Doomed. Hoge noot wordt niet gehaald? Tweede keer dat er kleren afgaan. Eerste de cape…

9. Nederland

Go whitney! Gewone witte jurk. Haar tet’n liggen er bijna uit. Handjes???

10. IJsland

Rode aladin pakje. Klote choreografie. Rare gouden armband rond pols/arm. Zelfde choregarfe als pol oscar. Gelieve niet te hijgen! Ze zingt niet vals. Emo-moment.

11. belgië

Bedrukt zwart pak. Met rood hemdje. Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaai
Schoenen met hakken.

12. estland

Ze hebben platen. Wanna be cool. K3 kapsels. Vijf lelijke madammen op het podium, die niet kunnen zingen. Iets te veel accesoires. Botjes?? Glamoureuze ontwerper??

13. Noorwegen

Rock! Scheer uw borsthaar. Strech pak, mùaar waar is de piemel?? Trussels doen het wel. En de boa. De muziek staat de stil. Zwaait met microstand waar oranje (oranje revo) ding aanhangt. Zijn ze gedrogeerd?? Op cd duizend keer beter.

14. roemenie

Ze heeft ook tet’n. simpel gekleed. Goed gezongen. Polliep moment. Vuurwerk slijpschijven.

15. Hongarije (tijdje geleden dat ze nog meegedaan )

Riverdance!!! Ruslana? Schoon madam. Een lange en een korte broekspijp. Hainanana. Sosm beetje vals.

16. Finland

Lelijke kikkerpadzanger. Wit kostuum. En wandelen maar. Saaaaaaaaaaaaai. Zingt niet vals. En wat weer met het handje??

17. Macedonië

Ie kan niet dansen. Schattig ventje. Zacxhtroze vestje. Achtergronddansers kunnen ook niet dansen. Danseressen dragen bloementjeskleedjes. Ie doet een Xandee moment met de drums. Vrouwen doen iets hoerig.

18. andorra

Heel Hollandse madam. Knappe halfnaakte mannen. Afschuwlijke kleren. Kyliemoment met pluimen. Veel pluimen. Weinig kylie sterallure.

19. Zwitserland

Wit kostuum. Schoon madam. Muziek staat weer te stil. Geile madammen met gitaren. Lesbisch moment rond de micro. Lose the venten.

20. kroatie

Hysterische vrouwen zegt piglet. Wolven sterven alleen. Zaaaaaaaaaalig begin. “waar zijn de schapen?” lelijke vent met te lange kleren aan. Achtergrond heeft de helft van hun kleren vergeten. Die ene heeft een rode Marge Simpson ketting aan. De wolf zit in de waterput. De drummer doet een handenstand en klapt met de voeten.

21. Bulgarije (eerste zending)

Wit. Weeral. Loraine in de raaain. De jeanetten die bij ons thuis zitten vinden dit de max. Hmmz. Ie doet het handje. Dikke oranje achtergrond is zijn vriendje.

22. Ierland

Schattig nerdje. Ie kan helaas ook niet dansen. De madam heeft een Frans hoedje aan. De madam kan zingen. Riverdance moment door de danseressen. Catchy.

23. slovenie

Zwart wit combinatie. “kom mar ip” handjes. Heel alleen rocken op het podium na een ballade momentje. Plots verschijnt een sexpop. Euhm achtergrondzangeres. Ie pakt de achtergrond.

24. Denemarken

Ocean handjes. Roze hemdje, met oranje schoenen. Ie kan wel zingen (door de neus volgens occie). Lelijke meneren overal.

25. Polen.

Roze en wit zijn hip. Zigeurnerdansers met heel veel rok. Piglet zegt dat hij Elvis allures heeft. Opzwepende accordeon. Blijf van de madammen!!naked manchest met zielig tepelhaar.

Hungary wins ESC 2005

Of course we played ESC last night. In fact we started with our own show. There's even some film material but alas... I don't have a program to support it on this site.
After our little hour of ballerina -, River-, belly - and other dances we watched the ESC 2004.

And here comes our New Theory: If you want to win (or go to the final) don't wave or fall down on your knees. Every single time a contestant waved or did a little kneel they were doomed, doomed I tell ya!!!
Being gay or having the dancing camera secures you of a place in the final. And in that final you get a top ten rating.

Oh and I just want to say that the world's most famous ESC reviewer fell asleep last night while watching. It's a disgrace!

Just got a textmessage from our very own Eurovisionfreak. He'll be joining us tonight in our ESC-marathon. We'll be watching ESC 2003, and the semi- and final from 2004. If we are in the right mood we might even make up our own 2005 show whilst listening to the 2005 CD...

I finally have some time to listen (and watch) to the contestants for the Eurovision Song contest 2005.
I already have my favorites. :-) Here's my humble opinion:

Funny: Moldava, The Netherlands (dre-aaaaaaaaaaam), poland (funny beat)

They just suck: Austria, Monaco, Belgium, Finland, Andorra, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Denmark (slimeball), Malta (just not my thing), Spain (stupid ketchup song!!)

Giving it some consideration: Israel, Estonia, Belarus, FYR Macedonia (it has a good start but after that.. I just don't know... yet), Croatia, Albania (I love the music but what a stupid text!!!), cyprus, Serbia & Montenegro (love the music, stupid boy band geeks), Ukraine, Russia,

Like it: Lithuania, Latvia (they're nagging but I can't help but love it a little), Iceland, Romania, Ireland, united kingdom (Sertab anyone??), Turkey, Sweden, Greece (8)you're my lover undercover(8), Bosnia & Herzegovina ("Bonsoir Europe", you just have to love them ), France

Love it!: Norway, Hungary (a bit a Ruslana act...), Switzerland, Germany (please wear the same outfit!!!)


After listening to them once I don't have an opinion about 10 songs and I already can't stand 10 too. I will have to listen a lot more before I can give you my ultimate top ten... I can change the songs I like, hey I can even change the songs I hate but I am already keeping my fingers crossed for my 4 favorites. Hope one of them wins!
